The college readiness assessment (CRA) is a battery of test that determines how much students have learned in basic education, their potential to succeed in college, and their interest on a particular course program. The CRA is composed of an achievement, aptitude, and occupational interest inventory. The achievement is competencies in English, mathematics, and science is based on the college readiness framework. The college readiness framework states the expected competencies that a student need to posses upon finishing the K to 12 basic education program. The aptitude is composed of non-verbal items with four subtests that is an accurate measure of general ability. The aptitude subtests are based on the aptitude taxonomy by Magno (2009). The occupational interest inventory determines the career inclination of students based on the career preference framework by Holland. The specific subtests of the CRA are as follows:
